Asia Tours & Vacations

Welcome to Asia, the most populous, energetic and contradictory continent on earth.

Across one vast landmass you will find almost everything. Sci-fi skyscrapers in Japan, whitewashed mountain monasteries, honking moped shoals and silent Taoist temples, neon cityscapes and saffron-clad monks bent in prayer. If you’ve come for the familiar, you’re in for a surprise. You can munch deep-fried grasshoppers with white pepper in Thailand. Ride across the Mongolian tundra. Explore the rice paddy fields in Bali. Swim with Burmese sea-gypsies. You will begin to understand - this place is where ordinary goes to die.

South Korea Real Food Adventure

Francesca · Traveled April 2024
The discovery of the flavours of Korean cuisine, from local markets, to kitchen of local residents, is a true cultural adventure. We enjoyed every day of this trip, discovering aspects of the country, of the natural beauty of the Korean landscapes and large cities, of Buddhism.

This is an excellent trip which gives a great insight into the culture, food and history of Korea. We got to see a lot of the country using a variety of different transport. (all very clean and efficient) A brilliant introduction to the food too.

“Slurp your way through South Korea” is indeed an apt way of describing the trip. John was an excellent, enthousiastic, well-organised, knowledgeable and caring guide. He was forthcoming with suggestions, assistance and recommendations. We enjoyed the trip - the food, the sights and the cultural experiences tremendously. Would recommend it to anyone with an open mind - even a non-foodie! So good :)
